Gate hinges come in polished 316 Marine Grade stainless steel and are self closing, an Australian standards legal requirement.
When you purchase hinges from budget glass pool fencing, we provide you all the required trimmings including a hinge tension tool so that you can adjust the self closing mechanism of your glass pool fencing gate.
Toe Hold Caps
This includes a toe hold cap which allows our installers to meet the legal requirements for safety. The toe hold cap is designed to be painful to stand on, preventing kids and toddlers from getting the up and over fences. Again, all our toe hold caps are included free with hinge or gate pack purchases.
DIY Tips
Our hinges are available in 3 different configurations. Be sure to choose the right one the fencing system you plan to install:
For instance, if you have semi frameless setup with round posts, you will need the hinge with one rounded plate.
Alternatively, if you prefer to hinge the gate to a wall or square post, you would need a hinge with one flat plate.
Lastly, if you are chasing a standard frameless gate setup, you'll need glass to glass hinges.
